Procurement Heads is excited to be working with a global online retailer who are looking for a Senior Category Manager to manage their Technology and Digital categories.
You would be working closely with the senior leadership team including C-suite level as well as managing your own dynamic team of procurement professionals.
If you have an interest in the E-commerce fashion world as well as experience sourcing and purchasing SaaS products, then this could be your perfect role.
You will oversee the procurement lifecycle across digital and technology as well as a variety of projects including looking at the procurement strategy, cost reduction and process improvement.
Previous experience within digital and technology procurement including SaaS is required for this role.
This is a hybrid role, with 2-3 days a week required on-site in North West London.
Key Skillset:
Developing and executing against an overarching category strategy - applying retail and online tech knowledge in order to define the mid and long term strategy to optimise spend and business outcomes
Managing a varied workstack of strategic, complex & high value add procurement activity
Building and leading relationships with stakeholders across the business up to & including c-suite level - providing commercial and though leadership
Optimising technology procurement across multiple projects
Developing and maintaining relationships with strategic partners
Identifying and delivering a pipeline of savings opportunities
Using your SME knowledge and procurement experience to identify and deliver against opportunities outside of direct negotiation to optimise outcomes including process improvements
You will be responsible for driving the strategic goals across the brand
Managing, coaching and developing the team
Supporting the culture by championing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategies Experience Required:
Previous experience of working in a fast-paced Procurement environment
Ability to autonomously define, manage and priortise across a high workload
Deep experience of working across a broad spectrum of technology requirements
Strong skillset sourcing and purchasing SaaS products. EG. Retail SaaS, Supply chain SaaS, Fintech, Payment, PLC
Experience working with Enterprise Microsoft
Proven track record of taking ownership of technology subcategories, developing strategies and executing against longer term plans
A down to earth character that takes people on a journey
Great analytical, administrative and presentation skills
Confidence and motivation to work independently whilst ensuring senior stakeholders and management are consulted as required Benefits:
