If you want to be part of a global organisation, yet still have the ability to make a real hands on difference and have full ownership of the product range, then this could be the role for you The Role The role of the Product Manager is to manage the existing product portfolio and new product developments in order to drive growth and higher profitability. To project manage the delivery and commercialisation of new products and product modifications across the business. To work closely with the sales teams across each region to understand market and customer requirements, and to define product specifications based on this insight Key responsibilities include: Product Strategy: Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and market demands. Product Development: Project manage the introduction of new products and product changes, from idea through to launch, ensuring region-specific specifications are met, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery on time and in full. Requirement Definition: Define product requirements based on market insight and customer feedback, appraising new product ideas. Product Roadmap: Develop and implement a product roadmap, working closely with Commercial and Technical to define and prioritise it. Commercial Collaboration: Act as the conduit between Commercial and Technical, collaborating with Commercial to gain market and customer insight, and translating this into actionable requirements for Technical, and vice versa. Product Management: Manage the existing product portfolio, ensuring the optimal number of SKUs for each region to maximise sales and reduce complexity. Certification Roadmap: Develop a certification plan per region driven by market and sales requirements. Work with internal and external stakeholders to implement. Product Launch: Plan and execute the launch and commercialisation of products. Prepare the key strategic marketing messages for marketing materials, and the technical product detail for Technical Data Sheets. Produce go-to-market and sales enablement product collateral. Product Packaging: Assess the packaging requirements across different product types and regions, and work closely with Supply Chain to ensure optimal market fit and efficiency. Product Training: Develop training materials, and provide product training for internal and external stakeholders. Customer Presentations: Accompany commercial teams to key customer meetings. Create and deliver product presentations. Market Analysis: Monitor and stay up to date with customer needs, competitor offerings, industry trends, upcoming regional legislation changes, and technological progress. Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of product developments and modifications, including progress against milestones, and any issues encountered. What We Are Looking For The Product Manager should be a technically minded individual with demonstrable experience in B2B Product Management/Technical Marketing. Ideally the Product Manager will have/be: University degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant discipline. Previous experience in B2B Product Management or Technical Marketing role. Excellent project management skills, comfortable with running several multi-stakeholders projects at any given time. Analytic and questioning manner with the ability to make sense of complex technical data and present it in a logical and structured way that is easy to understand. Excellent presentation skills to both internal and external audiences. Good client facing experience. Able to speak Italian would be a benefit but not essential What Is On Offer The Product Manager will receive a competitive salary of £45,000.
