Hours are part time from 10.00am – 3.00pm.\n\nSalary/package: Hourly rate £15.00\n\nThis unique service is designed to provide a bespoke service for each member of a Religious Community. The purpose of this role is to ensure that the Sisters are provided with the highest quality catering provision to meet their dietary requirements.
You will support a small team of staff in the provision of this service in an efficient and effective manner.\n\nWhat we need from you as an experienced Cook:\n\n· Level 2 Award in Professional Cookery with experience in cooking/preparing British and European dishes.\n\n· Current Food Safety awareness certificate or willing to attain.\n\n· Be able to demonstrate skills and knowledge associated with the activities of the role.\n\n· Previous experience of catering for older people\n\n· Knowledge of Health & Safety\n\n· Knowledge of Food Hygiene Legislation\n\n· Have good communication skills with a friendly and supportive attitude.\n\n· An excellent work ethic with a great understanding of good timekeeping and presentation\n\n· An ability to demonstrate the values of Hospitality, Impartiality, Integrity, and Courtesy the in day-to-day practices.\n\n· Be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.\n\nOther benefits:\n\n· Uniform is provided.\n\n· Mentorship support\n\n· Annual leave entitlement of 6.6 weeks pro rata, inclusive of bank and public holidays\n\n· Training and development opportunities\n\n· Employer Pension contribution\n\n· An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required for the role and cost will be covered by the Charity
