Robert Half are currently partnering with a longstanding client within the construction sector to recruit a temporary to permanent Transactional Finance Manager to join them immediately.
This role has been created due to the current incumbent leaving the position, there is an urgency to get this role filled ASAP for a short handover before they depart the business.
Start date: ASAP
Duration: Temporary to permanent (3 month temp)
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Hybrid working: 1 day in Avonmouth per week
You will be responsible for:
1. Lead transactions team of 4 people to achieve targets and continuous improvement.
2. Manage team development, training, and performance.
3. Align policies and processes with business needs.
4. Authorise new accounts and credit limits.
5. Ensure integrity of customer and supplier accounts in Dynamics 365 ledger.
6. Develop and manage the teams KPIs.
7. Recruit, train, and develop team talent.
8. Maintain strong relationships within Finance Team to support cashflow forecasting.
9. Provide accurate debtor/supplier info to management and auditors.
10. Propose process improvements.
11. Manage relationships with software providers, debt agencies, and credit risk reporting.
12. Provide operational cover for Finance Transactional Services team.
13. Maintain expertise in functional area.
Experience of Dynamics 365 would be hugely beneficial!
