What you will be doing: We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to join the Commercial team, focused on bringing the best of early-stage businesses to the Crowdcube platform. This is an opportunity for someone with a keen interest in start-ups and business, who is process-driven, experienced in B2B sales, and familiar with the startup/investment ecosystem, eager to help shape the world of startup finance and impact entrepreneurs' lives. Day to day you will: Deliver individual and team targets against revenue and volume. Consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual volume-based sales activity targets. Seek and approach new investment opportunities as part of outbounding. Qualify new investment opportunities from our inbound and partnership channels. Build a network in the UK startup ecosystem to achieve your revenue targets. Optimise and manage processes for finding new investment opportunities using sales tooling. Consult with start-ups on their upcoming rounds and negotiate Crowdcube terms. Collaborate with colleagues across the business, including marketing, to improve processes and provide feedback. Cultivate an understanding of the alternative finance/start-up/funding industry and stay abreast of significant developments. Ideally you will be: A self-starter who takes ownership and needs little guidance. Commercially focused and able to prioritise effectively to achieve targets. Confident in engaging with C-level executives and has a knack for relationship building and negotiation. Hardworking and adaptable to change in a fast-growth business. An experimenter who learns, iterates, and improves. Curious and eager to work outside your comfort zone. And you will have: A passion for start-ups, entrepreneurship, and alternative finance. Experience in consultative sales, business development, or commercial partnerships. Work experience in a targeted environment. Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills. Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of the London startup ecosystem and ideally an existing network. What we are offering: £50K - £55K 30% commission (OTE) uncapped (DOE).
