Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Regional Manager to oversee the operations of multiple pharmacies within the region. This pivotal role requires a qualified and registered pharmacist with exceptional leadership and organizational skills. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and compliant running of all pharmacies under your supervision, driving business growth, and fostering a positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of pharmacies in the assigned region to ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and professional standards.
* Implement and monitor performance metrics to achieve operational excellence.
* Conduct regular site visits to review performance and provide support to pharmacy teams.
Team Leadership and Development:
* Lead, mentor, and develop pharmacy managers and their teams to deliver exceptional service and meet business objectives.
* Conduct regular performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback.
* Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of pharmacy staff.
Financial Accountability:
* Develop and manage budgets for the region, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency.
* Monitor and analyze sales, expenditure, and key financial metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
* Collaborate with pharmacy managers to drive business growth and improve customer retention.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
* Ensure all pharmacies operate in line with GPhC standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
* Address any compliance or performance issues promptly and effectively.
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:
* Foster positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and healthcare professionals to enhance the reputation and service of each pharmacy.
* Work collaboratively with senior leadership to align regional objectives with overall business strategy.
Essential Requirements:
* Fully qualified and registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
* Proven experience in a pharmacy management or multi-site operational role.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrated financial acumen and ability to manage budgets effectively.
* Willingness to travel within the region regularly.
