Electrical Engineer A market-leading manufacturer of waste and recycling equipment are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their growing team. THE COMPANY : With business roots going back nearly 50 years, our client has developed a stellar reputation through the UK, Ireland, and Europe with revenue in the tens of millions. Our client has a track record of being eco-friendly and working to a high and accurate up time production cycle. With many long-term established relationships with globally recognised brands and a healthy pipeline of work, our client is in a healthy position to take on a talented Electrical Engineer to add to their workforce of over 80 THE ROLE : The successful candidate will spend around 50% of the time office-based in Tyrone and the other 50% field-based in mostly the UK and occasionally Europe and will have the following duties: Liaising with suppliers and contractors regarding design and design improvements on electrical systems Conducting feasibility studies per job and preparing and managing all technical documents as well as liaising with multifunctional teams Overseeing installation, commissioning and testing of all equipment on site, ensuring compliance and safety Assisting in planning, budgeting and scheduling of electrical systems, implementing preventative maintenance and upgrades as necessary Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues in equipment to ensure minimal downtime and optimal operation, with site visits THE PERSON: We are looking to speak to those from the following backgrounds: Being a fully qualified electrical engineer or fully qualified in a very similar discipline is essential. Previous on-job experience in electrical engineering, electrical project engineering or electrical design engineering is beneficial Heavy plant maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is extremely advantageous (quarry & mining equipment, waste & recycling, oil & gas and similar) but in a construction environment will also be considered Fully independent and confident in their ability to perform the job THE PACKAGE: Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 package (including overtime rates) Company Vehicle Fuel Card (UK) Healthcare Scheme Pension plan All transport and accommodation paid for Lunch Allowance of £25 a day additionally on package Phone Laptop 22 Days Holiday LOCATION : Tyrone Applications are encouraged from all candidates living within a commutable distance to Tyrone BMS Performance specialises in recruiting Engineering professionals, nationally.
