ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Working Site/Workshop Foreman where you will be reporting directly to the Joinery Manager. You must have knowledge of building processes and will be responsible for all works from site set up to finishing. You will need to have experience of taking a project from start to completion and must be willing to be hands on as well as a proven man manager and motivator.
Your duties will include:
1. Willing to work on tools as and when required
2. Ensure all plant, tools and equipment are in good working order
3. Order materials
4. Support Site operatives to ensure programmes are met
5. Attend site meetings as required
6. Ensure that all day-to-day tasks are completed
7. Review operatives competencies
8. Ensure all operatives are clean & tidy
9. Carry out any reasonable request of a similar nature as directed by Management.
10. Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
11. Ensure all employees/sub-contractors conduct themselves in a safe working manner.
REQUIREMENTS
Our client is looking for an experienced Foreman who has bench joinery skills or experience, with management ability, so that they can assist in their workshop, whilst also being able to help with site installation. A driving license is a must. A consistent employment record is essential and you must have at least 5 years experience as a foreman and experience working in joinery. You will need to have come from the tools to have a full understanding of the process.
