Key Responsibilities As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing client relationships by: Client Portfolio Management: Overseeing a portfolio of high-value clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery, seamless renewal processes, and proactive client support- all without the responsibility of new business development.
Policy Oversight: Managing the full lifecycle of client policies, including onboarding, renewals, and amendments, with accuracy and efficiency.
Risk Assessment & Strategy: Conducting in-depth evaluations of client businesses and assets to craft bespoke insurance and risk management strategies.
Insurer Negotiation: Acting as a key liaison with insurers, securing optimal coverage, terms, and pricing on behalf of clients.
Claims Advocacy: Guiding clients through the claims process, ensuring swift resolution and effective communication with insurers.
Regulatory Compliance: Maintaining meticulous records to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Service Excellence: Consistently delivering personalised, high-quality solutions to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
Operational Efficiency: Supporting the team through effective execution of administrative responsibilities, ensuring all processes run smoothly.
Oversee an existing panel of clients and work on new clients provided by the company.
Key Requirements The ideal candidate will bring: A proven track record as an Account Executive within the commercial insurance sector, with a minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience.
University degree (preferred).
ACII qualification or working towards it.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to meeting and exceeding client expectations.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with a results-oriented mindset.
Comprehensive knowledge of the commercial insurance landscape, with expertise in areas such as real estate, construction, cyber, or directors and officers (D&O) liability being particularly advantageous.
