Residential Support Workers required to work within Bluebell House, Newry in the Children and Young Peoples service. This team utilises skilled and qualified support workers dedicated to supporting children and young adults within a residential home with severe learning disabilities and challenging behaviours. Candidates applying must be capable of handling complex issues and be able to maintain strong relationships. As a contracted supplier for the Southern Trust, these positions are all temporary ongoing. Hours of work are on a rota basis with weekends on rotation. Hourly rate is £13.57 - £21.71 depending on shift worked, with sleepover rates available at £75.00. Due to the nature of this role, a Minimum of 2 Years direct and recent experience of engaging with young people with a learning disability or behaviours that challenge. Our client would prefer CPI Safety Intervention for Children, although CPI Safety Intervention Training for adults will also be accepted. Successful candidates must be NISCC registered and have a full driving licence valid for the UK with business insurance, and access to a car, as travel is essential.
