Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Field Operations Worker to join our team. In this role, you will visit venues to install, maintain, and troubleshoot our charging stations. You’ll act as a company ambassador, building positive relationships with venue staff while ensuring our technology operates smoothly. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Venue Engagement:
1. Visit partner venues to deliver and install ChargedUp charging stations.
2. Build and maintain positive relationships with venue staff, acting as the first point of contact for their needs.
3. Provide training and support to venue teams on the proper use and upkeep of our equipment.
2. Technical Maintenance:
1. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with charging stations, using diagnostic tools or liaising with the technical support team as needed.
2. Conduct routine checks and maintenance of charging stations to ensure optimal performance.
3. Data Management & Reporting:
1. Use ChargedUp’s proprietary app and other IT tools to log completed tasks, submit reports, and track inventory.
2. Communicate feedback from venues and customers to internal teams to improve the user experience.
4. Travel & Logistics:
1. Manage your schedule efficiently to complete daily assignments across multiple locations.
2. Transport equipment (requiring a car or motorbike) safely and reliably.
Skills and Qualifications
1. Technical Proficiency:
1. Comfortable using and troubleshooting technology (experience with hardware or software support is a plus).
2. Competent in using mobile apps and IT systems to manage tasks and report data.
2. Interpersonal Skills:
1. Friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills.
2. Able to train and guide venue staff effectively.
3. Organized and Independent:
1. Capable of planning routes and schedules for efficient coverage of assigned venues.
2. Ability to work autonomously while meeting deadlines.
4. Driving/Transport:
1. Possess a valid driving license and access to a car or motorbike (essential).
2. Confident navigating to different venues across the designated area.
5. Other Requirements:
1. Own a smartphone capable of running ChargedUp applications.
2. Basic competency in IT, including familiarity with apps, email, and online reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Previous experience in field operations, technical support, or customer service.
2. Experience working in the hospitality or technology sectors.
3. A passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
