Are you an experienced Band 5 or Band 6 Nurse looking to develop your career and your high dependency nursing skills?
We are a busy Children's Ward and have recently been approved as a level 2 HDU unit. We are looking to recruit an experienced paediatric nurse who is passionate to care for children with a wide range of conditions including those with high dependency care needs.
We have a brand new dedicated 2 bedded HDU bay within the ward and care for patients requiring a number of high dependency interventions including CPAP and Long Term Ventilation. As a unit, we also care for multiple specialities including medical, surgical, ENT, and orthopaedic.
The successful post holder will have opportunities to develop clinical skills as well as professional leadership and management skills whilst working as part of our excellent team at Ipswich Hospital.

* To support and deputise for the Manager and provide effective leadership.
* To contribute towards the overall management, leadership, and development of the Unit and Directorate.
* To facilitate high standards of professional practice and the delivery of care by working within Trust, Directorate, and professional guidelines and protocols.
* To provide a safe and welcoming environment for children, young people, and their families, working within available resources.
