\uD83D\uDD38Have you recently left school?\n\n\uD83D\uDD38Are you interested in a career in Administration or Finance?\n\n\uD83D\uDD38Do you want to earn money while you learn on the job and work towards a Business and Administration Level 6 SVQ?\n\nA friendly, supportive and well-established law firm in Dunfermline, Fife is looking for a motivated Modern Apprentice to join their team in a Junior Administrator role.\n\nThis is a full-time role with an initial 14 month contract which could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.\n\nThe role offers administrative support to the firmâs operational department, specifically the administration department and report to the Senior Administrator. The main objective of this role is to support the administration team with admin tasks and responsibilities. You will provide support in the form of; delivering internal and external mail, locating files, filing documents, dealing with facility and housekeeping tasks, dealing with vendors, manual labour tasks, accompanying visitors, photocopying and scanning.\n\nThis role is varied and requires the post holder to manage multiple tasks, seek guidance, complete requested tasks in a timely manner, communicate effectively and be professional at all times with internal and external customers.\n\nThe post holder with be supported by line management as well as the administrators and staff members. \n\nDuties and Responsibilities\n\uD83D\uDD39Support the delivery of the firms housekeeping, facilities maintenance and front of house presentation. \n\uD83D\uDD39Internal mail; deliver and collect internal mail within the office to the right trays in the central unit area.\n\uD83D\uDD39External mail; manually collect and deliver postal mail in the morning and evening from locations outside of the office. Open morning mail for partnersâ collection. Log and frank all external mail for delivery.\n\uD83D\uDD39Manual tasks; obtain newspapers for the waiting room, pay fruit vendors from petty cash, place stationary deliveries away, place bins out and collect from storage areas.\n\uD83D\uDD39Photocopiers; support staff by photocopying, scanning, updating toner and paper levels, solving issues or calling out engineer.\n\uD83D\uDD39Filing system; assist to upkeep the filing systems and locate files when required.\n\uD83D\uDD39Central Unit; scan and destroy closed files, archive First Scottish files, manage accountant collections and file case files in the right cabinets\n\uD83D\uDD39Stationary; maintain stationary levels in office locations\n\uD83D\uDD39Maintain reports, documents and other systems to support the delivery of tasks and business.\n\uD83D\uDD39Seek knowledge and guidance from line manager and colleagues \uD83D\uDD38Along with the duties in your role, you will undertake a Level 6 SVQ in Business and Administration and will be supported throughout.\n\n\uD83D\uDD38You will learn how to provide excellent and professional support to the firm, maintaining excellent customer service to all customers internally and externally.\n The most important thing is that you are motivated, hardworking and keen to learn\n\n\uD83D\uDD39NAT 5 English is required\n\uD83D\uDD39Microsoft Office Skills\n\uD83D\uDD39Written and Verbal Communication Skills\n\uD83D\uDD39Desire to learn, develop and share knowledge\n\uD83D\uDD39Previous experience in an office environment or in an admin/customer service-based role, but not essential as training will be provided\n\nIf you think you are the right person for this role and you are looking to kick start your career, we would love to hear from you\n
