You’ll collaborate with a highly skilled team of core engineers, driving the design and implementation of cutting-edge systems to tackle complex infrastructure challenges. This role involves frequent architectural discussions, design reviews, and delivering high-quality, performant code in Rust. Responsibilities: Refactor, improve, and lead the design and implementation of software components. Read and interpret protocol specifications, turning them into scalable Rust code. Maintain and future-proof a modular, high-performance codebase with multiple components. Automate security testing processes and benchmarks with innovative tools and frameworks. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative team environment. Requirements: 3 years of experience in distributed systems with expertise in L1 and L2 blockchain architectures. 2 years of professional Rust programming experience. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to anticipate and mitigate security threats. Contributions to open-source core protocol engineering (e.g., Firedancer, Reth, Lighthouse, Geth). Experience in the Solana ecosystem, including runtime, scheduler, or core systems development. Knowledge of Solana Program Library (SPL) and frameworks like Anchor. Active participation in blockchain security research or open-source communities.
