Job Description: TEACHER OF COMPUTER SCIENCE & ICT
Responsible to: HEAD OF ICT DEPARTMENT

The Governing Body of this successful school wishes to appoint a passionate and dynamic Teacher of Computer Science & ICT. The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner eager to enhance teaching and learning in Computer Science & ICT.
We are looking for someone who will be able to effectively deliver both subjects at Key Stage 3 and 4, with knowledge of the KS5 Computer Science curriculum. Technology is well resourced within the school, with three dedicated, fully equipped teaching rooms. The ideal candidate will be able to teach across the age and ability range, proficient in the delivery of practical programming elements through to A’ Level.
The successful candidate will show a working knowledge of the Digital Competency Framework (DCF) and be able to assist in its implementation across the whole school. The successful candidate will be joining a department currently achieving excellent results in all Key Stages.
The closing date for applications is 12 midday, Monday 10th February 2025.
Shortlisting will take place the same week, and candidates will be informed by Wednesday 12th February if they are invited to interview.
Interviews will take place on Wednesday 19th February 2025.
The successful candidate will commence on 1st September 2025.
