WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As Head of Client Development, you will be responsible for:
* Driving Business Growth: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand our client base and increase revenue.
* Leading Strategic & Creative Development: Spearheading the development of innovative event concepts and shaping compelling pitch presentations that win new business.
* Strengthening Market Position: Staying informed about industry trends and maintaining a competitive edge.
* Client Engagement: Acting as a key point of contact for new client projects, understanding their needs, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional event experiences.
* Team Leadership: Motivating and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding results.
ABOUT YOU:
* Strategic Vision: A strong understanding of client brand strategy and the ability to translate client needs into innovative event solutions.
* Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience in client development, business development, or a related field within the events, marketing, or advertising industry. A demonstrable track record of successfully acquiring new business and growing existing accounts is essential.
* Creative Acumen: Ideally, some experience as a creative producer, with a passion for transitioning into a conceptual, client-facing role.
* Exceptional Communication: Articulate, presentable, and confident in presenting creative concepts and proposals to senior clients.
* Strategic Thinking: A deep understanding of client brands, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
* Collaborative Leadership: Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate cross-functional teams to achieve exceptional results.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE;
Essential:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in client development, business development, or a related field within the events, marketing, or advertising industry.
* Proven track record of successfully acquiring new business and growing existing accounts.
* Ideally, experience as a creative producer or in a similar role with a strong understanding of event production processes.
* Strong understanding of client brand strategy and the ability to translate client needs into innovative event solutions.
* Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
