We are looking for an innovative and dynamic Administrator to join us in Slough Mental Health Services. Working as part of the Slough Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), the postholder is expected to act on their own initiative on a daily basis to ensure the effective running of the service, prioritising their own workload as required. Hours are Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm/ 37.5 per week.,
* To be the central point of contact and maintain relationships across the service, assisting the team in the development and maintenance of efficient and effective office procedures.
* Provide dedicated planning, coordination and administrative support to team members, as required, including diary management and management of referrals and appointments and updating appropriate healthcare professionals as required.
* Attend designated meetings where the information may be complex and sensitive, taking and transcribing minutes. Distribute information prior to and after meetings in a timely way.
* Provide the point of contact for the team, dealing with telephone, e-mail, postal and personal contact from colleagues, clients and staff members from external agencies and the development, implementation and maintenance of efficient and effective administrative systems, practices and procedures.
* Responsible for the effective and efficient day-to-day administrative, clerical and secretarial support for the team; including liaising with GPs and practice staff, IPT and AMHP team members, colleagues from voluntary services, patients with MH needs/their carers, primary care and local authorities; contributing to the smooth running of the service.
