This role sits within our Business & Industry division, catering for those within the workplace. Taking care of catering and dining services, we're one of the industry's largest and most innovative contract caterers. With menus available to pre-order and with in-app payment, Elior B&I have matched the tastes and dietary requirements of our four million daily customers with 21st-century tech.
What you'll be doing...
* Full profit and loss accountability for stock, vending, and other services.
* Business planning responsibility to drive operational success.
* Client and customer satisfaction measured through delivery standards and direct feedback (e.g., complaint and compliment ratios).
* Compliance with all company policies, procedures, and legislation, including health and safety, risk assessment, and internal and external regulations.
* Effective stock and systems management, including availability, shrinkage control, and security.
* Develop full knowledge of all operational areas within your scope of duty.
* Manage the allocation, cleanliness, and maintenance of the facility to ensure optimal standards.
* Implement the company’s Quality Procedures to achieve consumer satisfaction.
* Manage stock, including ordering, security, accounting, stock condition, wastage control, and availability while adhering to the company’s stock holding standards.
* Maintain and control both consumable and non-consumable stock as appropriate.
* Conduct on-the-job training to develop team skills and ensure compliance with standards.
* Adhere to the Health and Safety at Work Act, Food Safety, and COSHH regulations.
* Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
* Achieve financial targets, including Gross Profit (GP) expectations.
* Manage the security of the unit, including implementing effective closedown procedures.
* Follow call-out procedures to manage contingencies effectively.
* Ensure timely entry of invoices into InSight and P2P systems.
* Uphold professional conduct within the unit at all times.
* Monitor hygiene standards through recorded management checks.
* Liaise with the General Manager (GM) regarding building inspections, report faults, and ensure the GM is informed of any issues affecting Health and Safety or service delivery.
* Ensure accurate storage of foodstuffs and maintain strict adherence to accounting calendar requirements for stock reporting.
* Maintain cleaning supplies and personal protective equipment, ensuring economical usage.
* Monitor cleaning cupboard presentation and enforce safe practices.
* Investigate and correct all variances before closing stock accounts.
* Maintain all company documentation accurately.
* Meet deadlines set by the Site Manager.
* Pursue continuous development of personal skills and knowledge.
* Provide hands-on support on the shop floor as required.
* Perform any reasonable task assigned by the Manager.
