The Role -
Procurement Services is seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious individual who is passionate about executing and delivering the business sales strategy.
The successful individual will be accountable for sustaining customer retention and identifying new opportunities through managing, developing, and leading a team of Account Specialists.
You will be responsible for identifying and contacting existing and future customers using available data and systems to ensure long-lasting relationships, contract retention, and excellent service across a geographical region, delivering sales growth and wider business opportunities.

Key duties –
* Own and take responsibility for delivering the annual sales revenue target for your team by successfully managing the team and assessing their strengths and weaknesses.
* Maintain a strong pipeline of contract opportunities for both existing and new customers.
* Have a clear understanding and offer unbiased advice to customers relating to the advantages of using the Frameworks within the Procurement Services portfolio.
* Identify decision-makers and develop strong customer relationships throughout the UK to build a pipeline of sales opportunities, identifying, planning, quoting, overcoming customer objections, and closing the sale.
* Develop creative measures to increase customer portfolio by gaining new business, while also maintaining and retaining current customers.
* Work jointly with suppliers and the internal team to achieve annual growth targets.
What we need from you –
* Experience in management and development of a team and individuals.
* Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads.
* Experience in generating sales via telephone calls.
* Self-motivated, pro-active, target-oriented, and able to work in a timely manner against tight deadlines.
