More about your role
You will take an active role to engage with residents to promote safe and secure independent living, ensuring an engaging vibrant environment to reduce isolation. Responsibilities include providing advice on rent and service charges, assisting with benefits claims, and supporting customers with their financial needs. You will work with the internal Places for People income recovery team to reduce rent arrears.
The role is part-time at 18.5 hours a week, with travel within local geographical areas required. The working days are Monday and Friday full days, and Saturday half a day.

More about you
It is essential that you have experience/knowledge of housing management, social care, and/or wellbeing of Retirement living services. You will possess good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build great relationships with both customers and colleagues, are required. A good mix of ‘team player' attributes and the ability to work effectively using your own initiative is important, as there will be an element of lone working. You will also have an awareness of Health & Safety.
The ideal applicant will have experience of managing anti-social behaviour and challenging situations.
