Brilliantin Technology Recruitment is working with a leading Global HR software organisation that is looking for a visionary Chief Technology Officer to lead their technology strategy and execution.
Role Overview
As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will be responsible for driving the company’s technology vision, strategy, and execution to deliver innovative, scalable, and secure HRP solutions. You will lead a high-performing technology team, oversee the development of cutting-edge products, and ensure that our technology aligns with and supports our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Technology Strategy: Develop and implement a robust technology strategy aligned with the company’s business goals and growth plans.
* Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire the engineering and technology teams to foster innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Product Development: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of products, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, performance, and security.
* Scalability and Reliability: Ensure the HRP platform is scalable, reliable, and optimised for performance to support business growth.
* Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains a leader in its market.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the executive team, product management, and other departments to align technology initiatives with business priorities.
* Security and Compliance: Ensure the platform complies with relevant security standards, regulations, and best practices, including ISO27001.
* Budget Management: Manage the technology budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve strategic goals.
* Cloud & API Integrations: Strong experience in Cloud SaaS HR Technology, working with platforms like Azure and AWS, API integrations, and system interoperability.
* Mergers & Acquisitions / Divestitures: Provide technical leadership in M&A and divestiture activities, ensuring seamless integration or separation of systems.
* AI & Innovation: Experiment with AI technologies, champion internal innovation, and drive adoption across the organisation to maintain a competitive edge.
* Vendor Management: Manage third-party technology providers and vendors, ensuring strategic partnerships align with business objectives.
* Vision & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with the CEO to set a dynamic vision for the company, engaging employees, clients, and PE investors with strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
* A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a HR Tech / SaaS environment.
* Proven track record of successfully scaling and managing technology teams and products.
* Strong technical expertise in cloud-based architectures, software development, and modern tech stacks.
* Deep understanding of SaaS business models, metrics, and challenges.
* Experience with Agile development methodologies.
* Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking abilities.
* Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience in Cloud SaaS HR Technology, Azure, AWS, API integrations, mergers and acquisitions, divestiture, ISO27001, AI experimentation, and vendor management.
* Ability to drive innovation and champion new technologies internally to foster a culture of experimentation and adoption.
* Strong presence and gravitas to engage with employees, clients, and PE investors.
