About the Role:
A leading Civil and MEICA contractor is delivering large-scale maintenance frameworks for United Utilities' AMP8 programme, covering Water Treatment Works (WTW) and Wastewater Treatment Works (WWTW) across the North West. Projects range from £10k to £500k, focusing on upgrades, refurbishments, and maintenance of critical infrastructure.
We are currently looking for MEICA Project Engineers with progression opportunities at Senior MEICA Management and Supervisor levels. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates looking to develop their careers within the water and industrial sectors, with experience in water treatment, wastewater engineering, design, and site-based project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver MEICA services across multiple projects or large schemes.
* Ensure commissioning teams are updated on project progress.
* Oversee RAMS, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
* Support technical planning and programming of projects.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Conduct site inspections and progress reporting.
* Ensure health & safety adherence across all activities.
* Assist in client liaison and stakeholder management.
Requirements:
* Experience in water industry projects or similar process-driven environments.
* Strong understanding of MEICA systems, commissioning, and site-based project delivery.
* Microsoft Office literate (for reporting and planning tasks).
* IOSH, SSSTS, or NEBOSH General Certificate (advantageous but not essential).
* Ambition to progress into Senior MEICA Management or Supervisor roles.
