The Council is beginning a 12 month project to review externally held physical (paper) records. The roles will be assigned specific tasks to help review, sort, destroy and rebox records according to their document type, age and condition.

Though the focus of each role is slightly different both will be working with service leads to review bankers boxes of records returned from external storage and supporting the most appropriate actions including destroying files no longer required, separating North and West Northants Council records, supporting the back scanning of files where this is the most cost-effective long-term storage option and cataloguing, reboxing and returning all other records to storage.
