Business Development Manager - CYP & AV Signal Distribution
Salary Scale: £50k OTE (uncapped), + Car, BUPA, pension, etc
Main Job Functions
* Identify and develop new and existing accounts for the sales and distribution of CYP and audio visual signal distribution product portfolio.
* Identify and develop specification and project opportunities to achieve agreed revenue and profitability targets.
* Provide product, specification and system design support and consultation to integrators, M&E contractors, consultants and end clients.
* Develop and execute product, account and project plans to achieve or exceed agreed targets.
* Follow-up marketing leads in response to campaigns & activities.
* Collate and report sales and marketing intelligence relevant to strategic targeted markets.

We are recognised as the main UK commercial distributor for the CYP range of AV signal distribution products and have recently received industry awards for delivering training and support for the brand and the technology it represents. This high calibre role has been created in order to develop the full sales potential of this exciting product range.
This role fits within our experienced team of UK-wide Audio Visual area Sales Managers whose combined customer portfolio reaches in excess of 1200 leading B2B integrator, reseller and client accounts.
Ideally situated in the London / South of England area, allowing full access to the Capital and M4 corridor based integrators, M&E consultants, architects and commercial / residential property developers and clients. This role will also involve UK national coverage of key accounts.
The role will best suit an experienced technical sales person or system design engineer who is confident in a customer-facing specification sales / consultative role.
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate:
* Proven sales / specification track record.
* Sales territory management.
* Ability to break into and develop new key accounts.
* Strong relationship management skills.
* Proven technical knowledge and experience preferably in AV based system sales and/or specification/integration.
* Ability to build and close your own sales pipeline.
* Understanding the buying and decision making processes.
* Confident specification & proposal writing and presentation skills.
* Extremely strong communication skills including the ability to take the lead in responding to client invitations to tender.
* Understanding of contracts and the commercial aspects of managing client relationships.
