HR Advisor - Barrow
We are seeking an HR generalist to drive forward the aims and objectives of this industry-leading organisation.
You will be part of a small HR Team, delivering an HR service across a number of sites. In addition to providing generalist knowledge across all parts of HR, the successful candidate will also lead on specific areas within the function, including Recruitment and Selection, Induction and Probation, and Case Work.
Responsibilities
* Lead on the development of resources and training for Line Managers to support them with all aspects of Recruitment and People Management, including induction, probation, and performance management.
* Be the recognised Lead in the department for Recruitment and Selection of staff, Induction and Probation, ensuring suitable processes are in place for new employees to have a clear and supportive introduction to their role and receive any identified support through the probation process, working closely with the HR Admin Support Assistant to ensure suitable records and tracking are in place.
* Advise Line Managers on dealing with minor performance or behavioral issues, in line with relevant HR policies and procedures, and identify when referrals to more formal processes may be required.
* Review, develop, and continually improve relevant HR policies, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice as directed by the Head of HR.
