Job Title: Electrical Project Manager
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000

A national M&E Contractor are looking for an Electrical Project Manager to join their expanding team in Cambridge with the initial project being based in Lincoln. The company provides M&E services to a wide range of clients and businesses across a multitude of sectors including MOD, HMP, Commercial, Education, and Healthcare. These projects are typically valued up to £10M.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the projects are completed according to schedule and budget, undertaking effective planning.
2. Manage materials, labour, sub-contractors, installation, procurement, and drawing programmes to accord with installation and specification requirements.
3. Liaison with clients, supply chain, delivery teams, and management.
4. Oversee working practices, ensuring compliance with HSE policies with support from H&S Manager.
5. Financial management of projects, including procurement and assisting with costings.
6. Preparation of method statements and risk assessments.
7. Monitor project programme and project planning.
8. Conduct site inspections and quality control checks ensuring all works meet industry standards, regulations, and client's specifications.
9. Completion and submission of as-installed documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. You will have SMSTS, CSCS skills card, and relevant industry qualification.
2. Proven track record of successfully managing electrical projects up to £10m (M&E).
3. Effective planning and project management skills.
4. Working for a Building Services Contractor at a similar level.
5. Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of electrical systems and their installation methods.
6. Consistently good financial returns on projects, considering all relevant factors.
7. Good people management and motivational skills.
8. The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines.
9. The ability to plan, co-ordinate, and prioritise workloads.
10. Strong results orientation.
