Job Title: Supported Housing Officer

About the role
You will be there to provide support to Places of Safety project. This role will require you to have excellent communication and customer service skills.
You will need to provide an excellent service to service users and their families, supporting them to understand their housing options, support networks, and additional support needs.
This role is customer facing with responsibility for supporting customers to maintain their licence agreement with GreenSquareAccord.
You will support the temporary accommodation that GreenSquareAccord is leasing from registered providers and properties allocated from our own stock.
You will work with Gloucestershire's housing districts, customer accounts, maintenance, and other GreenSquareAccord staff, as well as external agencies, to ensure victims of domestic abuse access and maintain a place of safety in the county.
Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require a DBS check to be completed. Further details will be sent following the offer.
About you
You must have excellent knowledge of housing and domestic abuse legislation.
You must have a good awareness of the diverse needs of customers.
You must have experience of managing complex, sensitive customer queries, remaining calm when dealing with emotional, difficult, or distressed people.
You need to have an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and the need to follow policy and procedures.
You need to be able to work methodically, paying attention to details and with a high level of accuracy.
