IKEA Exeter are looking to welcome Food and Beverage Assistants to join our delightful and hardworking team.
Love food and customer service? As an IKEA Food Assistant, you will be immersed in both. If you thrive in a fast-paced and team-focused environment, this role will allow you to experience our wonderful everyday.
We have opportunities in our front-of-house customer restaurant and also Swedish Food Market/Bistro areas.
WHAT WE OFFER
1. The Start Date of employment will be 01 and 02 February 2025. Interviews will be held between 10 and 16 January.
2. Hourly rate of £12.60 per hour.
3. We have 12, 20 and 24 hour a week contracts. Availability to work during the evenings (up until 21:00pm), as well as 3 in 4 weekends is required.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
1. Prior food and customer service experience is a plus, but not required if you are hands-on and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
2. Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
3. Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
4. Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.
5. Due to health and safety regulations, all applicants must be over the age of 18.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
1. You will take payment at tills, serving customers in a friendly way, at either our Restaurant or Swedish Food Market.
2. You will ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
3. You will be motivated to keep a clean, safe and pleasant area for our customers to eat, shop or socialise.
4. You will support your colleagues, lend a hand, and foster a positive work environment, contributing to a happy team.
