My client is looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to join their business and support leading their largest retail accounts. They are experiencing unrivalled growth and are looking for someone who can help maintain and grow their client base in retail.
The Role:
1. As they have developed some exciting new brands, working closely with NPD & Marketing will be crucial for the success of this role
2. Driving, delivering and implementing the business plans, ensuring all parts of the business are engaged and focused on results
3. Building strong relationships with site teams and suppliers in order to drive the customer agenda
4. Proactively manage customer perception and drive the quality agenda with the site teams
5. A close understanding of Category Management principles and their implementation
Skills and Experiences:
* Track record of dealing with the major retailers at buyer level for at least 3-5 years (M&S, Waitrose, Sainsbury's, etc.)
* Will have a good understanding of Own Label and Branded products and knowledge of what retailers look for in a respected supplier partner
* Will be strong numerically and be able to interpret data and utilize market information
