Nursery Manager
Location: Alloa, FK10 1LJ
Salary: £21 per hour
Contract: Full time, permanent
The Role
* It is within the managers job role to ensure that the nursery is running to a high standard and that you are following current documents and guidelines.
* You should also ensure that all staff are aware of their own individual responsibilities, supporting staff in their development through training opportunities and additional support if required.
* The nursery manager should ensure that the environment of the nursery is to a high standard with a variety of stimulating resources for all ages and stages of development.
* The nursery manager will welcome all families through their open-door policy answering any enquires or concerns, they may have as well as ensuring the wellbeing of all children within the setting, supporting families and working with external agencies if required.
* The manager will monitor and observe staff through peer and room observations to identify areas for improvement.
* It is of the managers responsibility to review and implement policies and procedures, work with financial aspects of the nursery including funding from the local council and to ensure that the setting maintains parental engagement through parent committee and regular newsletters.
Skills and Qualifications
* BA in Childhood studies or equivalent or working towards a degree
* Minimum Level 9
