We now have an exciting opportunity for a Full -Time Planning Assistant to join our Castle Donington People Planning and Performance Optimisation Team on a permanent bases. This role is an administrative position and will be responsible for providing our planning team with timely and accurate data and performance feedback to enable us to deliver cost efficient and colleague engaging labour planning.
The contracted hours for this role will be 37.50 and consist of a combination of 7:00am and 10:00am starts see rota which is included at the bottom of the Job Profile.
NB : You will be required to upload a copy of your CV to your application and you will be asked to complete an online assessment. This does not play a part in the shortlisting process but will be taken into account at the interview stage. The selected candidates will then be invited to Face-to-Face practical assessment on site.

What you’ll do
Your key accountabilities will include
10. Prepare, run and produce reports including the investigation and interrogation of data to identify risks and issues, and suggest solutions and mitigation
11. Support with the collation and administration of data for the Planning function to develop further insight and forecasts cycles enabling the team to deliver high levels of forecast accuracy
12. Provide detailed T&A analysis and operational support in the days leading to payroll cut off, enabling the operations team to ensure accurate colleague pay and minimal colleague pay queries
13. Administer the daily and weekly suite of reporting information for the Senior Leadership Team and the Planning Leadership Team on plan accuracy, stock holding and site performance
14. Provide data to the planning team for rapid scenario building of inbound, demand, stock holding and hours deployment
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include
15. Experience of using multiple IT systems, and utilising Microsoft Excel to perform detailed analysis
16. Enjoys working in a collaborative way to deliver the required service to multiple key partners
17. Good attention to detail, able to work in an accurate and methodical manner to deliver multiple requests to tight timescales and can remain calm under pressure
18. Experience of data analysis and problem solving
19. Ability to communicate data and statistical information simply, so that it is easily understood by nontechnical colleagues
