Job Title: Deputy Manager - Clinical Lead
Salary*: £27.80ph, plus 10% SMART objectives based bonus paid quarterly
Hours: Full time 7am-7pm 3-4 days a week to include alternate weekends

Team Members under 21 will be paid at £1.00 per hour less, which is significantly above National Minimum Wage guidelines for this age group *
A little about Nightingale Nursing and Care Home:
Nightingale Nursing & Care Home is based in the centre of Edwinstowe, near Mansfield. The home, although purpose-built, has been made very homely, and has a selection of garden areas, in line with Jasmine’s values and ethos. The home provides personal, nursing and dementia care to 49 residents.

Day to Day Responsibilities for Deputy Manager - Clinical:
* You will join our brilliant Maintenance Team and carry out the day-to-day maintenance of the Home and its services and grounds/gardens, to ensure that it is safe and desirable place for our residents to live and team members to work in.
* You will work with the Home Manager, Clinical Lead and other trained nurses in the Home, to assess, plan, implement and evaluate quality nursing care to ensure the highest standards of care are always delivered to our residents. This should ensure positive outcomes for our residents including, inter alia: no pressure sores, no unavoidable weight loss (or gain), safe administration of medication, and all falls are minimised.
* You will support our carers to provide personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating.
* You will be responsible for administering medication, writing and updating nursing care plans and keeping accurate daily records, as well as keep all mandatory training up to date and complete additional training as required.
* You will be promoting our resident’s choice, dignity and independence and all times and assist with the management of the care team, completing all action plans and ensuring care plans are updated and evaluated regularly.
Essential Requirements for Deputy Manager – Clinical:
* Relevant Professional qualification (e.g. Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN / RNLD))
* Minimum of three years’ experience in residential / nursing home setting of which at least one year must be with people living with dementia
* Conducting effective person centred One to Ones
* Live within 30 minutes of the Home
Preferred Requirements for Deputy Manager – Clinical:
* Have two years’ experience in a similar role in a nursing home.
* Have one year experience of caring for residents living with dementia.
* RGN qualification
* Driving Licence
