Our Role
The CRM Manager will be responsible for owning our core email BAU (newsletter) campaigns in UK & international territories, from initial planning through to briefing, implementation, and reporting. You’ll work alongside both the CRM and wider internal/external teams to create engaging email campaigns that drive engagement and support our business goals, whilst keeping an inquisitive mindset and the customer at the forefront of everything you do.
What you’ll be doing
* Email & push notification campaign management, and development
o Responsible for managing, delivering, and implementing all BAU email and broadcast push notification initiatives across UK and international territories.
o Co-ordinate and optimise the email sign-off process, including creative, product content (B&M) and functionality with responsibility for final email sign off.
o Own technical email development, including dynamic content, personalisation, mobile optimisation.
o Regularly liaise with the Trade and B&M teams to ensure the correct products or categories are featured and manage any changes to the email plan accordingly.
o Ensure that content is consistent with the wider business focus, including online, social content, brand messaging and visual merchandising.
o Responsible for management of one CRM assistant.
* Strategy / Planning
o Lead the build and management of the email & push notification marketing calendar, on a seasonal and ad hoc basis.
o Implement personalisation strategies based on a data-driven approach to ensure relevant communications.
o Ownership of ongoing A/B engagement testing plan to determine most effective creative, messaging and targeting, working closely with the Data and Insights team to ensure correct execution.
o Calendar and workflow management, ensuring that creative, technical, and marketing teams are meeting deadlines and understand email requirements.
o Utilize segmentation to target the correct customer at the correct time, in an effort to drive incremental demand.
o Identify gaps and develop new processes and procedures to ensure CRM best practice and alignment, at all times.
o Required to keep an eye on best in market competitor examples and share suggestions of ways to implement these into campaign / seasonal planning.
* Reporting and Analysis
o Weekly and monthly in-depth performance reporting.
o Work closely with the Insights team to decipher test results and any further analysis.
o Monitor competitor’s campaigns and report on relevant activity, promotions and send frequency.
What skills & experience you’ll need
* Considerable experience in a similar email role preferably for a B2C or D2C CRM function.
* Process management experience.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Confident using data and excellent communication skills.
* Computer literacy Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. PowerBI experience would be beneficial.
* Stakeholder management.
