About the Role:
Supply Desk is working with an excellent school in Milton Keynes that is seeking a dedicated Business Teacher to start in January 2025. The successful candidate will have experience delivering Business lessons at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 and will be committed to creating engaging, dynamic lessons. Strong classroom management and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff are key for this role.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Teach the Business curriculum across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
2. Plan and prepare lessons in line with departmental schemes of work and curriculum guidelines.
3. Use students' prior attainment levels to set targets and monitor progress.
4. Keep accurate records of students' work and mark assignments within agreed timeframes.
5. Set and monitor academic and social development targets for students.
6. Build positive and respectful relationships with students to maintain a supportive classroom environment.
Requirements:
1. QTS, PGCE, NQT status, or equivalent (Unqualified Teachers are welcome to apply).
2. Experience teaching Business at KS3 and KS4 in a secondary school setting.
3. A relevant degree or certification in Business or a related subject.
