A well established Aerospace organisaion are seeking a dynamic Buyer for a 9 month contract in Yeovil.
As a Buyer play a pivotal role within the team in Yeovil managing contracts and supplier relationships to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to secure goods and services in line with company quality, cost, and delivery standards.
Negotiate contracts, ensuring favourable terms while minimising risks.
Manage project timelines, ensuring the smooth delivery of products and services.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical procurement practices.
Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.Key Skills:
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proven experience in procurement or commercial roles.
Team player with the ability to coordinate multi-functional activities.
Computer proficiency (SAP experience is a plus!)
