Hours are 3.5, salary will be £2,204 pro rota.

Main duties of the job
To ensure that the ward(s) / areas you are assigned to are cleaned in accordance with the Work Schedule for those ward(s) / areas.
This will include:
1. Vacuuming floors
2. Sweeping, scrubbing and mopping floors
3. High and low dusting
4. Wiping over and polishing (where applicable) both vertical and horizontal surfaces, mirrors, chairs*, bed frames*, bins, sani-bins
5. Cleaning toilets, sinks, baths and showers
6. Cleaning cookers, regeneration ovens, fridges, holding fridges, microwaves and other items in the kitchens
7. Defrosting fridges on a regular basis
8. Restocking consumables such as toilet tissue, hand towels, soap
9. Descaling taps and bins, and replacing bin liners
(* Providing they have not been soiled with body fluids)
To make patients' beds as required by the ward manager, including changing of the bed linen (provided they have not been soiled with body fluids).
