Job Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity for an RICS chartered or AssocRICS surveyor to carry out Level 3 and Level 2 home surveys, as well as other residential surveying work. The role offers great flexibility, allowing surveyors to work from home and manage their own schedules. Our client provides the support of a professional team handling admin and report production, enabling the surveyors to focus on high-quality surveying and client relationships.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out Level 3 and Level 2 residential building surveys for private clients
* Identify and report on structural and building defects, maintenance, and repairs
* Prepare and present comprehensive, accurate survey reports
* Provide clear, concise, and justified conclusions to clients
* Communicate directly with clients both verbally and in writing
* Work independently with minimal supervision while being part of a supportive team
* Manage own schedule and ensure timely completion of surveys

Qualifications:
* RICS chartered building surveyor (or AssocRICS)
* Proven experience in carrying out residential building surveys
* Solid knowledge of building defects, maintenance, and repairs
* Excellent attention to detail and strong report-writing skills
* Ability to provide clear, well-justified conclusions
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Full UK driving license
