Job Description An opportunity for a Tax Professional to step into the busy and growing tax department of a boutique accountancy firm in Bristol. They are a Chartered firm of accountants who have been established in Bristol for over 15 years. With close-knit ties to local Universities, start-up incubators and a historic client base, they have diverse portfolio spanning tech firms, R&D and pharmaceuticals, local businesses, HNWIs and not-for-profits. The tax dept covers a whole spectrum of work including share options, valuations, compliance, R&D credits and more. About you? You will be chartered either CTA or ACA and have experience in tax advisory services, ideally in the R&D world. You'll be looking for a step up to managing your own portfolio of clients and comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team. You will likely have some experience in corporate tax planning, preparing and submitting tax returns, keeping up to date on legislation and giving advice on changes. What's on offer? You'll be based out of a newly refurbished office a stones throw away from the Bristol harbourside with a vibrant street food culture and numerous cafes, bars and restaurants. There is flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week after getting settled in. The team are sociable and regularly get together outside of work. Base salary will be based on prior experience but in the region of £40,000 /-. There is a viable growth opportunity to progress quickly to Senior Manager and beyond.
