Join our award-winning charity and make a real difference to people's lives We're looking for a caring and dedicated Registered Nurse (RGN) to join our registered care service in St Albans, Hertfordshire. In this role, you'll provide high-quality nursing support to adults with learning disabilities, helping them live their best lives in a supportive, homely environment. This part-time position offers 22.5 hours per week, with flexible shifts available (AM and PM) and the option to take on additional overtime. We re also recruiting for bank/relief staff to offer extra flexibility. About the role: You ll be joining a warm, welcoming team that provides 24-hour support to 12 wonderful people with a range of disabilities. You'll have the opportunity to really get to know each person, building strong, meaningful relationships and understanding their unique needs and preferences. The role is all about making each person feel valued, respected, and supported in their day-to-day lives. Every day will be different, and you ll be involved in a range of activities, such as: Creative art and crafts Enjoying walks and drives Listening to music and watching films Helping with cookery sessions On the nursing side, you ll assess and monitor the health care needs of the people we support, ensuring their health is always a priority. You ll help develop, implement, and review Health Action Plans (as part of their broader Person-Centred Plans ), ensuring they receive the best possible care tailored to their unique needs. You ll also manage health concerns, respond to medical emergencies, and administer prescribed medications and treatments. As part of your role, you ll be responsible for auditing, ordering, and storing medications safely. Why work with us?
