JOB PURPOSE
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT sales professional to lead pre-sales activities and drive our IT sales opportunities from discovery to close. As our IT Pre-Sales Consultant, you will engage with customers to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored solutions that meet their business goals. Working closely with the Sales Team, you’ll identify new IT opportunities and support cross-sell and upsell initiatives.
We’re seeking a results-driven individual with strong technical expertise and communication skills, able to translate customer needs into effective IT solutions. You will also prepare technical scopes of work and collaborate with the delivery team to ensure seamless implementation once the sale is confirmed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Be our ‘IT Champion’ of Welcomm, being the first port of call for all IT Sales queries and opportunities.
* Manage and oversee all IT opportunities for the business from scope to quotation and implementation.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams on IT opportunities and projects including other IT Consultants, Account Managers and our IT Technical Support Team.
* Attend prospective IT customer Sales meetings to maximise closing deals.
* Create and deliver IT training sessions for the Sales Team, coaching and upskilling colleagues when required.
* Create marketing/sales collateral for the IT vertical including writing and posting blogs for social media.
ABOUT YOU
* Proven track-record in a pre-sales or technical consulting role within IT, demonstrating the ability to assess customer needs and tailor IT solutions to meet those needs effectively.
* Minimum 2+ years in an IT Support role and an IT Engineer role.
* Proficiency in IT Infrastructure (Servers, Endpoints, Networking), Cloud Technologies (Microsoft Azure) and Networking Concepts (Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Access Points).
* Sound understanding of Windows Operating Systems (both Windows Desktop and Windows Server).
* Experience working with Virtulisation Technologies (such as Hyper-V and VMware).
* Valid UK Driving Licence. (Essential)
