Arcus Cleaning Systems designs and manufactures advanced automated cleaning systems to clients in Food & Beverage, Chemical Production, Personal Care, Waste Management / Recycling and Material Handling sectors throughout the UK, EU and further afield, with a focus on reducing resource consumption for the benefit of the environment. We are looking for a Workshop Engineer to lead the assembly, servicing and maintenance for our range of equipment. This position will be a critical part of our team and is suited to an individual who is looking for an exciting, challenging role with unlimited personal growth potential within a fast-growing, export-focused company. Key Responsibilities: Managing and completing the assembly, testing and dispatch of our products. Gaining an intimate knowledge of the products we design and develop. Get to know the clients we currently service and learn how we do business. Help us improve our existing products and develop new lines: applying your knowledge of production processes, fabrication, materials, cost build-up and job costing. Work closely with the Design and Manufacturing team, ensuring smooth flow of new products from engineering into production. Visit customer sites for engineering visits and helping with assembly, installs and service. Design and drive your personal, professional and technical development plan. Candidate Qualifications & Experience: Mandatory: Practical experience assembling and testing industrial mechanical and electrical equipment Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing / factory environment Experience managing deadlines and demands on your time and input Full, clean UK driver licence Excellent analytical, numerical and data analysis skills Desirable: Experience of contributing & collaborating across a range of disciplines in a team Experience in mechanical maintenance roles Experience working with pump systems and / or electrical circuits Experience with ERP / MRP software Competence with Office 365 software (Outlook, Word, Excel, To Do) The role includes: Competitive salary dependent on experience 3 year personal, professional & technical development plan 5% Employer pension contribution Unlimited professional advancement opportunities Private healthcare plan 4 day working week (Monday to Thursday) A caring, supportive work environment Interested?
