Job Description:
Are you an experienced Document Controller in Build Construction or Civil Engineering? A Demolitions Contractor is looking for a Document Controller to work for them across their projects based in Zone 1 London!
You will be working in the team providing support with quality checking and uploading documents, creating workflows, and using Aconex. If you enjoy working in a Site Office, then please apply!
Responsibilities:
1. Typing up letters and reports
2. Printing and photocopying
3. Ordering office supplies
4. Liaising with suppliers and contractors
5. Manage workflow of documentation on EDMS systems
6. QA manage all incoming and outgoing documentation and communication
7. Distribution of documents to relevant managers / project teams
8. Editing and amending documents for accuracy and compliance with client procedures
9. Creating reports and trackers on all communication of the project
10. Providing regular training on EDMS systems to internal and external staff
11. Drive and manage all documentation and the flow of information ensuring deadlines are met through the project EDMS
12. Attend site meetings
13. Preparing, organising and filing information in paper and digital form
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Excellent communication skills
2. Strong IT skills in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word
3. The ability to multitask and have high attention to detail
4. Experience in the Construction Industry / working on-site would be a bonus!
