Veritas Education:
We are seeking confident individuals who have a passion for supporting children and young people within their educational settings. Veritas works alongside various schools in and around the Leeds/West Yorkshire area, looking for supportive, enthusiastic, and reliable teaching assistants/support staff.
We currently have multiple learning assistant roles available around the Leeds area, from mainstream primary schools (Early Years to Year 6) to Special Needs Settings supporting learners with Autism, behavioral, and learning needs.
Mainstream primary SEN roles and Special Needs schools are a great way to start your journey into education and build on your current school experience as you develop new skills in supporting additional needs, behavior, and lesson content.
Key skills required:
1. Passion for wanting to support and help children/young people
2. Confident supporting children in different classes and age groups
3. Enthusiastic, hard-working, energetic, and reliable
4. Able to build meaningful relationships with both learners and staff
5. Willing to get involved in day-to-day lessons and activities across the school
