Job summary Stockport NHS Foundation Trust Occupational Health Department Administrator Band 3 37.5 hours £24,071 - £25,674 An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join the Occupational Health Administration Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of administration duties and be expected to work independently but will be part of the wider administration team within the Occupational Health Department. The successful candidate will possess excellent organisation and communication skills, be flexible and well-motivated, who enjoys working with people, engaging with colleagues at all levels and will possess a flexible and positive attitude to work. You must have a good standard of general education and you will also need an excellent telephone manner and have the ability to work under pressure. Previous NHS experience would be an advantage but is not essential. Main duties of the job To provide administrative support to the Occupational Health Department. The post holder will undertake a range of administrative duties including electronic record keeping, filing, scanning, data collection and photocopying. The post holder will also be trained to work on the Reception Desk which will involve meeting and talking with patients as well as booking/re-booking/moving appointments. The post holder will also be responsible for processing activity from our external sites and deal with various queries arising from the external contract work. There may be occasions when the post holder will be required to work at our branch site on the Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHSFT site.
