We're recruiting for a Lecturer -Creative to join our team on a part-time, 16 hours per week contract, on fixed term basis to 4th July 2025. The salary scale for this role is £24,872 - £43,440 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting (to be pro rata'd to 0.444 FTE) The Lecturer -Creative Role; You'll provide inspiration, skill and practical experience to students across our department's courses. You'll also contribute to the development of our course offer, building on our innovative provision. Key responsibilities of our Lecturer -Creative; Plan, teach and assess on one or more of the courses delivered within Creative Industries area, ranging from Level 1 to Level 3 Develop and implement learner-centred assessment methods, with focus on constructive and development feedback for our students Encourage, monitor and report on the attendance, progress and achievements of students Ensure safe working environments for students and colleagues, enforce health and safety standard in your area, ensuring all students understand and comply Undertake personal coaching and pastoral responsibilities for designated students in order to support them in their own development and future progression Keep abreast of industry developments in your specialist area to ensure the relevance and continued employability of our students Actively participate in continuing professional development around theory and practice within the education sector Our ideal Lecturer -Creative should have the following qualifications, skills and experience; Hold a teaching qualification and have experience of teaching in the Further or Higher Education sectors Have a level 3 qualification in the subject relevant to the course you will be delivering You should have experience of general Art and Design practice and knowledge/understanding of contemporary and historical Art and Design practice Experience of Adobe Creative Suite is desirable and working knowledge of both PC and Mac software is essential All applicants should have good administrative skills and be able to accurately track students' attendance, progress and achievements.
