Your Tasks
* Based at our Head Office in Warwick, working under a hybrid office/home arrangement, reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:
o Financial Accounting for Durr Ltd and its subsidiaries
o Treasury Management
o Taxation
o Month, quarter and year-end reporting for the financial accounting area
o Balance sheet (including leases)
o Supporting all of the Business Units within Durr Ltd and its subsidiaries on financial accounting related financial matters
o Being the first point of contact for the finance area of the Durr Ltd business.
Your Skills
* With previous experience of working within an engineering/project background, you will have already gained a Finance Qualification, preferably CIMA.
* Previous supervisory experience of Finance personnel is essential.
* IFRS knowledge, a working knowledge of UK and European taxation, exposure to international trade, and experience with foreign exchange transactions is required.
* You will have a high degree of computer literacy and the ability to use MS Office applications. Experience of SAP is preferred.
* You must have excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with the customer at all levels and build productive working relationships with all internal/external customers.
* You will have the ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
* You will be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised and with initiative.
* You will need to have a flexible approach and be able to work independently and within a team.
This role is for a fixed-term contract commencing in May/June 2025 covering Maternity leave.
