We are recruiting for a Clinical Lead, an enthusiastic and highly skilled nurse with expertise in eating disorders who is both a strong clinician and leader to join an inpatient hospital team for adults with eating disorders in High Wycombe.
This is a fantastic role for an aspiring nurse leader looking to remain in a clinically focused role whilst developing your skills in operational leadership, quality, and strategy.
This is a 14 bedded, specialist eating disorder service for mixed gender adults. Priory Hospital Marlow is located just outside in an outer suburb of High Wycombe, within easy access of the M40, M25, Central London, and the nearby towns of Marlow and Maidenhead.
Reporting into the Hospital Director, the Clinical Lead is a member of the hospital Senior Management Team and is wholly responsible for the leadership and delivery of clinical services operations, expert nursing care, working in close partnership with therapy colleagues and medical staff within the hospital.
The post holder will ensure the highest level of patient care is provided to all patients.
Your role as the Clinical Lead will be to work closely to support the Hospital Director with the operational delivery of nursing services at the running of the Hospital. You will also oversee the much-valued nursing team, working in partnership with the full MDT (Multidisciplinary Team) to design and implement packages of care and ensure the quality of services delivered, including a Ward Manager and Deputy Ward Manager.
* This role is close to Matron/Team Lead/Clinical Lead within the NHS.
* The job holder must currently hold a full clean driving licence and have been qualified for 3 years.
* Job holder must be RMN/RNLD qualified, with Eating Disorder experience.
Knowledge / Education / Skills
* Professional NMC registration.
* Mental Health (RMN) or Learning Disability (RNLD) qualified.
* Strong clinical experience in Eating Disorders and evidence of continuing professional development.
* A detailed understanding of statutory regulations is essential.
* Passionate about providing high quality care and continuous improvement.
* Experience devising and undertaking quality improvement projects and evidence-based evidence.
* Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills are essential.
* Forward-thinking, proactive, and creative.
* The ability to deal with multiple issues simultaneously in a highly dynamic environment.
* High levels of integrity and boundaries.
