Job Title: Branch Assistant
Branch Location: Airdrie
Reports to: Assistant Branch Manager
Job Purpose:
To always deliver the highest levels of customer service and a culture of excellence with the Branch.
Key Accountabilities:
1. To identify and pick stock items for customers in a timely manor
2. To load and deliver products in a timely and professional way.
3. You will maintain and excellent relationship with customers
4. Maintain accurate records of sales, deliveries
5. Inform manager of stock levels.
6. Maintain good condition of the branch vehicle by checking and reporting concerns when required.
7. Provide cover in the absence of the Assistant Manager.
8. To support the sales and marketing plans of the business
9. To support the branch action plan
10. Liaise and cooperate with all work colleagues within the company, group and wider Epwin community.
11. Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
12. Undertake training and performance reviews
13. Contributes to the culture where standards are of the highest standards, maintaining good housekeeping within the branch.
14. Carries out activities in line with safe systems of work as well as using personal safety device in line with work type
Key Experiences and Skills Required:
15. Experience of working in a trade environment
16. Experience of customer service
17. Demonstrate the highest levels of customer service
18. Experience of dealing with cash
19. Full driving license
Desirables Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:
20. Good local Knowledge, and knowledge of the local road system.
21. PC Literate
22. Able to listen and follow instructions
23. Ideally some knowledge of the construction industry
24. Able to work well within a close team environment
