Job Description
Since our early days, the development of piston systems and cylinder components has been a core competence at MAHLE. Our products are used around the globe in two-wheeled vehicles, passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and large engines.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will conduct maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and calibration on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of dedicated test rigs.
Your Contribution:
1. Conduct maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and calibration on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of dedicated test rigs.
2. Ensure robustness of test data on dedicated test rigs and metrology systems.
3. Implement improvements to working practices, document changes, and write work instructions.
4. Support and advise Technicians and Operators as appropriate.
5. Any other duties defined by the Head of Projects, Development & Testing.
Your Skills and Experience:
1. A strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems (essential)
2. Experience of using metrology equipment (desirable)
3. Experience with Excel
4. Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent (essential)
