Hardware Finance Analyst - 12 month Secondment
This is a 12 month FTC
The Hardware team is responsible for reporting all transactions relating to hardware sales and Trading stock held by Virgin Media O2. This feeds from three billing systems and the Warehouse management system, which are processed and scrutinised by the team to ensure financial integrity and bring insight into business performance. Adjustments are made to comply with financial reporting standards.
As one of a team of six, this role is focused on the accounting and reporting side. You will have responsibility for bringing together the financial results for the department, utilising MicroStrategy and EDH. The department's overall contribution to VMO2's P&L is Circa £1.3bn -£1.5bn COS & Revenue per annum. The role can be split into two halves: there are prescribed tasks which must be done consistently, to rules and deadlines during the month end, and tasks where responsibility is taken by this role, where the role holder has flexibility to deliver and to develop processes and results, in particular Audit Lead and Vendor funding calculations.

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
* Finalist / Qualified Accountant
* Experience of month end duties
* Analysis and Reporting
* Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
* Advanced Excel skills
* MicroStrategy Dossier creation and development
